Just Jeggings ★

When the jeggings appeared on the fashion market a few years ago, I remember that I was kind of opposed to wearing them... The idea of wearing tight sweat pants and looking stylish at the same time sounded impossible. Thank God I changed my mind! Jeggings are just AwEsOmE. I wear the black and dark blue ones to go to work all the time because they are soooo comfortable and they look great with everything. The only thing is...a lot of brands have great jeggings but they are very expensive and do not last very long. I fell inluuuuv with the ones from American Eagle and Aerie (basically the same brand).
If you buy them without trying them on, buy a size smaller. This detail made me very happy at first (when I thought that I actually dropped a size...), unfortunately one of the girl from the store told me that EverybodY was buying a size smaller because they sized a little bit bigger...

 Aerie. Jeggings. $49

What's your number?!

We have all made THE list (of all the Guys we "dated") at least once in our lives...don't lie! I know you did it too...and if you haven't yet, you definitely will after watching this movie.
Ally Darling made her list and realized that she went out with 20 men. She decided that she was not going to date any new guys (as she does not want to go beyond 20). So, she tries to find all of her exes and Re-dates them to see if "The One" could be one of them. "What's Your Number" is the Perfect Girly Movie that all of you should watch.

Charly Highly Enjoyed ;-)

Say Hello to Your Future Clutch

My favorite clutches at the moment are the ones I bought from Clare Vivier at the Theory store. They are not too big, not too small and you can wear them all the time... to go out, to go for brunch or even to go to the gym, or just anywhere you don't need to bring your entire life with you. And if you really need to bring everyhting with you (meaning even your ipad or computer), Clare created an oversized clutch! Wouhou!

Foldover Clutch. Grey & Neon. $149
Foldover Clutch. Navy. $149

 Foldover Clutch. Royal Blue. $149

Oversize Clutch (told you it could fit a laptop). $180
 Oversize Clucth. $180
 Oversize Clutch. $180
Wallet Clutch. $79

You can buy everything on her website→ http://seevivier.com/

I Want More Water...

This commercial is just Fantastic!

For my Non French Speaker, the sign that the guy holds says "Congrats, you have already lost 2000 calories". And the last pink phrase at the end means "It would be easier to lose weight if it was more fun to do so!"  I say YES to that!

UNIQue LOw prices

I love to go walk my dog in the morning for a few reasons, but the most important one being that it gives me 20' to assess the weather and thinking about what I am going to wear during the day.  What? did you really think that I was going to walk my dog in decent clothes?! Of course not. When I wake up, I put some sweat pants and a hoodie on, while I try to wake up my dog... Not an easy task believe me, I have a bulldog and he just loves to sleep in (you need treats to make him go to the door if it is before 10am). Anywho, this past week, I ended up getting the weather wrong everyday. Last wednesday, I was wearing a jean and a simple grey t-shirt and the wind started blowing (I was freezing), and as I was right next to UNIQLO (the giant one in Soho), I decided to walk inside to warm me up for 5 minutes. Inside the store was just as cold as outside...I wondered what was up with putting the AC at minus 10°, but then it hit me... All I could see around me were super thin coats. That's when I realized that the AC was blowing on purpose to make people like me wanna buy these coats...(and it totally worked ;-) I ended up buying the black version of the very cute Premium Down Ultra Light Jacket. And you know what? I am glad I did! This coat is just the extra layer you need when it gets a little chilly outside. Plus, you get a little bag to put it in (the coat only weights 99grams/0.21pounds) and takes up only very little space.
This is the little coat we all need to carry around in our bags just in case the weather changes (and as you know it always does).
Going back to Uniqlo, if you need or like basics at affordable prices, this is your store! (I bought the Boyfriend fit Chino Pants in 3 colors and they look great)!
Premium Down Ultra Light Jacket. $79.

This is the bag with the coat inside.
I took a picture and I added my glasses to show you how small this bag is.
(and the coat actually fits in there perfectly, not like the sleeping bags that once taken out, can never fit back!)

Boyfriend Fit Chino Pants. $39

A Little Piece of Paris in NY....

When you think of Paris...you think of the Eiffel tower, Chanel, Avenue Montaigne, Stylish people wearing a beret and carrying a baguette around on their bike (a bit too cliche?!), and of course Laduree. I have a great piece of news for you....(just keep on reading). Louis Ernest Laduree opened his first store rue Royale in 1826, and now, almost a 150 years ago, Laduree opened its first store in NY on the Upper East side (on Madison Ave between the 70st & 71st).
I decided to go check the new store out, so I took the subway to go uptown at 6pm (stupid idea)...it was packed! A very small guy spent 3 subway stops under/in my left armpit as I was trying to hold on to the closest metal bar....it was quite disturbing (especially for him). I finally got out of the subway and walked a few blocks, and I realized once again how much I loved the upper east side, it is a little more quiet and everything looks prettier. When I got to the store, I stood outside for a minute just to stare at the pyramids of macaroons, the pretty colored candles, and the smiling people who looked like they just discovered paradise. This totally made me want to buy Everything. When I finally walked inside and saw the prices, I realized that buying everything was definitely not an option... So I ended up buying 4 ice creams with macarons on top for the friends who were going to come have dinner at my place. It was a success! They tasted delicious and the way they were packaged made them taste even better :-)
Laduree is not a go to for every occasion.  However, when you have to bring a little something to a dinner party, or when you just need to go to a pretty place to treat yourself, Laduree definitely is the place!

That's the window of Laduree in NY
Which one are you going to have?

Stella...you're a Star!

McCartney said in one of her interviews "It is a big deal to  buy clothes"....no kidding Stella!
This British designer is on Top of the World with her latest collection that everybody is going crazy for.

Unfortunately, her luxury pret a porter collection is a bit expensive (the dress right here above is over $2000)... So, I tried to find an alternative for us, and I did: It is called ASOS! The 2 dresses here under are each worth about £45. http://www.asos.com/Women/

When I think about Stella...I also think about Adidas!!! She is my motivation to go to the gym, or should I say my motivation to go buy an outfit to go to the gym. Indeed, Stella has designed several collections for them.
THE winter sport jacket. $300 (it makes me wanna go skiing right NOW)
Too soon? Maybe... Okay then, let's go to the gym first. And let me tell you that one thing Stella rocks at is making awesome looking sports clothes that are at the same time super comfortable. I already bought a few items from her this summer and I am telling you, you should do the same!

Running Shoes. $175

Short. $85

Short Sleeve Terry Tee. $75
