Dear Winos...

Today, I intend to share with you my Favorite Wine Spot in New York!

It is called Wine:30. It is located on 30th st between Park Ave & Madison. It is a very small place with good music and a perfect atmosphere to drink some delicious wine and enjoy small plates to share. The service is one of their strong point as well, the servers take their time to recommend food & wine.
My Favorites :
-Caramelized Onion, Goat Cheese & Melted Gruyere Bruschetta
-Cheese and Charcuterie Platter (served with warm bread)
-Grass Fed Beef Sliders (4 mini burgers cooked to perfection)

When Fashion Designers turn into Magicians

In September 2010, I saw an incredible exhibition in Istanbul on the genius of HUSSEIN CHALAYAN. I was flabbergasted by his designs. And then a few months after that I couldn't remember his name and it got me pretty frustrated. This week, I was talking with a friend about fabrics when she said 'ohhh this reminds me of Hussein Chalayan' and I thought I remembered the name, she then sent me a video of him and I thought I was going to hug her! It took me a year and a half to finally rediscover who he was. I've just spent an hour on my couch watching videos of his shows on youtube and I cannot get over what he does. He is Brilliant!!!

Now that I went on about my future desk (in my previous post), it got me thinking..... What are the things that I am actually going to need (by need I mean = Will not be able to live without...) Answer: MUJI! They have the best desk accessories.

My New Job

I have started my new job almost two weeks ago now.... Yes, this is the reason why I haven't had time to write new posts everyday but I will get better at juggling both very soon (hopefully ;-) I don't have my own office yet but it shouldn't be too long now. Spring 2012...Celine all the way!
