I just cannot stop listening to her music.... Oh Land or should I say Nanna Øland Fabricius is from Denmark. What you have to know about her: She was a dancer but because of an injury was forced to stop and instead started writing music, her mother was an opera singer and her dad a musician. Her electro pop music is just what you need to listen to on your way to work!

The Cold Bites....

My hands tend to look like crocodile skin because of this freezing weather....and I do not intend to turn them into a fancy bag (yet). My lips are in no better condition. At this stage, Chapsticks and l'Occitane hand creams are definitely not going to cut it. The best remedy to extremely dry skin is the 'Eight Hour Cream' of Elizabeth Arden.

My advice: It is greasy so try to put the cream on your hands right before going to bed. And you'll have baby hands the next morning!

What Would Life be Without Bubbles?!

When I celebrate something I love to open a bottle of Bubbly and I know for a fact that a lot of us do...It's the sound champagne cork popping, the pretty champagne flutes, the sound of the champagne flowing in the glasses. It's all these details that remind us of happy moments. Now tell me how much more fun would it be to have it in a super stylish bottle?! According to me: Plenty!!!

2012....

Usually I start thinking about my resolutions around Xmas, I write them down on a piece of paper that I know I am going to lose, and by the 1st of January I don't even want to remember them. What if this year I actually made an effort at becoming a better person by achieving feasible resolutions....
My solution: to find a cute notebook (that always helps ;-) , to write them down and to try to get around following them, and even if I fail after a week, to keep on trying instead of pushing them off to next year.

There are 45 pages (that's a lot of resolutions to keep) or maybe we should achieve one resolution at a time. I mean, how hard can it be to make 45 things that are going to make us a better person?! Answer: Probably impossible...but why not trying?!

Reading Time

Hey Girls, I am so sorry I didn't give you any news but all the wifi spots refused to work so I enjoyed the snow for a week. Not checking up your emails for a week is at the same time frightening and very enjoyable. I am now back in New York, NY and I am going to share with you a book that I love and that I've read once again while on vacation... I've read this book countless times (maybe 6 or 7 times, but who's counting ;-) Having read most of the books written by this author, Paige Toon, I can tell you without a hesitation that this one is her best. It is super girly (don't expect anything intellectual) but it will take your mind off of everything!
