My New Winter Wedges

I just wanted to share with you the shoes I bought this weekend because they are really comfortable and  they look great for the fall/winter season!

Aldo. Sandidge Wedges. Black Suede. $120

Tonight, I wore my shoes with some H&M black tights (look at the pic here above) and my Rag & Bone Confetti Dress.

Rag & Bone. Confetti Dress.

Rag & Bone. Confetti Dress

This last picture is just to show you why it's called a confetti dress:
It is full of colored dots all over the dress.
I would advise you to buy it at Barneys ($255) because it is way less expensive than on ASOS($337), how weird...?!
Anyways, have a great Wednesday! :-)

Restaurant of the Week 'Edi & the Wolf'

Last Saturday my boyfriend decided that we were going to have dinner at an Austrian restaurant. I was a little bit sceptical...and asked him three times 'Are you sure this is such a good idea?!' I was picturing an oktoberfest type of place (how cliché, right?!).
I was relieved the minute I entered the restaurant. It is super cozy (as you can see on the pictures) and the atmosphere is very convivial! We were helped right away (that's when I realized that we didn't have a reservation)...but we got very lucky! We ate at the bar and it was the best seat in the house as the bartender took such good care of us.
The dishes that I thought were the best out of what we've ordered:
-Landjager: a cured dried austrian sausage with mustard and pickles
-The Baby Back Ribs: honey, beers, mustard, and pickles (My Favorite!!!!)
-The Apple Strudel
-The Wine: some Riesling (I love wines that are pretty sweet so I would not recommend it to everybody...just to those of you who love sweet (alcoholic) juices ;-)

The Xtra details that makes this restaurant special and makes me want to go back tomorrow:
-impeccable service (everybody was just so nice and the staff was paying attention to all the important details)
-the bathrooms (you have to go wash your hands because they look amazing...)
-their playlists (I could have stayed all night just to listen to their music)

Edi & The Wolf Location: 102 Ave C (& 7th street)

I would advise you to go check the reviews about this restaurant on yelp (that's where the picture are from)  http://www.yelp.com/biz/edi-and-the-wolf-new-york
You can also look up their website  http://www.ediandthewolf.com/

Simply SeXy....

I walk in front of the store 'Kiki de Montparnasse' once in a while when I am in Soho but weirdly enough, this weekend was the first time I actually went inside. And it was WAOUW! The lingerie is ridiculously beautiful (and pricey). They have crazy sexy lingerie as well as comfy sweatpants and sweaters in cashmere (and they even manage to make those look cute and sexy).
If you wanna dress to impress your special someone, this is the place I would recommend.

Amour Kaftan. $495

Cateye Mask. $125

Nuit Lace Leggings. $495

Luxe Boyfriend Sweater. $495

Make Love T-Shirt. $65
I fell in love with this t shirt and bought it. The cotton is very soft and the cut is just perfect.
I always take a size bigger for the t shirts because I simply hate it when they are too tight.
(sorry for the quality of the pic, but I took it myself...)

They have a much better choice in their stores
(compared to what's on their website http://www.kikidm.com/shop/home.php).

Have a Good Night ;-)

Le Pain Quotidien Bakery(ies)

One of my friend is a baker at Le Pain Quotidien Bakery (at the Bleecker Location), and she made me the best pizza dough EVER! And better than that...she gave me her super easy recipe to make the dough myself. I want you Guys to be able to enjoy it too, so here is the recipe:

Ingredients for the Pizza Dough:
-500 grams of bread flour, unbleached
-350 grams of Water
-10 grams of Salt
-3 grams of Yeast, instant dry

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients into a somewhat smooth elastic dough
Step 2: Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover the bowl with plastic
Step 3: Let the dough sit in the fridge for 24hours
Step 4: Take the dough out of the fridge and let it sit for 2 hours on your counter
Step 5: Use a little bit of flour to shape it the way you want
Step 6: Add your toppings
Step 7: Put the pizza in the oven
Step 8: Enjoy!!!!

I made 2 pizzas tonight
Pizza 1: tomato sauce + mozzarella + bresaola + mushrooms + parmesan cheese
Pizza 2: tomato sauce + goat cheese + prosciutto

But let's go back for a second to the Bakery of the Pain Quotidien on 65 Bleecker St (between Lafayette St and Broadway). It is run wonderfully by an awesome team of bakers (the manager of the bakery is Karen Bornath and she was a professor at the french Culinary School in NY, she is amazing and she works with Anna, Joe & Eric who simply are bread rock stars). They make the best baguette in NYC!!! (and believe because I went everywhere in this city to find some good bread). The first batch gets ready around 9.30am every morning 7 days a week. Should I also mention that they make some cinnamon bread, olive breads, and many other organic breads and pastries?! You can watch them make everything through the glass windows that are surrounding the bakery.
If you want to work on your cooking skills, you can take some classes in the bakery:
-Bread Basic Class for $55
-Brioche & Challah for $75
-Biscuits & Scones for $75
!!!You can also have private classes if you decide to go with 6 or 7 of your friends!!!

If some of you live in LA, le Pain Quotidien recently opened their second bakery in Fashion Island with Jonathan (one of the baker who used to work at the Bleecker location). Go try it out because he is an amazing baker!

If you like to try new recipes and want know more about what goes on in the bakery of PQ you should definitely follow their blog 'Bake.Bread.Blog' (it is written by my friend Anna who gave me the pizza dough recipe and she always has new amazing ideas. Today she made a banana tart and I was sure I was going to hate it....of course I ended up loving it and begging for more..)

Off the Leash!

I am fascinated by the girls who look all stylish with these detachable collars. I really want the Louis Vuitton but it is a tiny bit out of my budget for the moment.... So I went on the Etsy website and found some really cool ones (at more affordable prices ;-) ... but then, as I was browsing I discovered some even more interesting pieces made by Alexis Bittar & Delfina Delettrez.
Louis Vuitton. Gold Metal Collar. About $1500
I am crazy about this accessory... as it serves as a collar, as a necklace, as a something special!

Just love this picture from Madame Figaro! And look at the varnished leather collar!!!

Etsy. Peter Pan Collar with satin Bow. $36
Etsy. White detachable shirt collar. $21
Perfect if you want to prove how much of a Saint you are...
 Etsy. Removable Collar.$70
Etsy. Detachable Peter Pan Collar. $38
 Alexis Bittar.

Alexis Bittar.

Delfina Delettrez. Button Collar Necklace. $2400

Delfina Delettrez. Button Up Cuff. $1400
I thought it was just great that she created the cuff to match with the necklace...

Which ones are you favorites?????
